I had gone down to Werri Beach to photograph the looming storm clouds and raging surf. I set up in between showers down near the edge of the rock shelf.

In between watching for rogue waves and the next rain shower I almost didn’t notice how the setting sun breaking through the clouds behind me lit up the sky creating this awesome sunset.

Not for long though - it is hard to ignore colour and majesty like this.
